The project implemented by the Basel Institute on Governance supports the long-term development of effective corruption prevention mechanisms in Ukraine. In the context of the country’s reconstruction and ongoing reform efforts, particularly in the energy sector, public institutions, companies and project partners are supported in identifying and mitigating corruption risks at an early stage.

The initiative focuses on four key areas: strengthening corruption prevention in the energy sector, building capacities within reconstruction-related businesses, advising Liechtenstein-supported projects, and training a new generation of Ukrainian anti-corruption professionals.

Through training, risk assessments, tailored advisory services and mentoring, the project establishes sustainable structures for transparency, integrity and good governance. It contributes to better safeguarding investments, strengthening the rule of law and improving the conditions for a transparent and sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine.
