Drink Tap Water, Donate Drinking Water

Access to safe drinking water is a human right recognised by the United Nations. By supporting DRINK & DONATE, Liechtenstein makes a tangible contribution to advancing this fundamental right.

Under the motto “Drink Tap Water. Donate Drinking Water.”, the non-profit organisation DRINK & DONATE promotes the consumption of locally available tap water instead of bottled water that requires extensive transportation. The contributions generated through this initiative are channelled into projects that provide people with access to safe drinking water.

Since 2017, the concept has been implemented across the Liechtenstein National Administration. Employees receive reusable glass bottles for drinking tap water, while at the same time supporting drinking water projects in developing countries.
